May 5, 2022 – Please be advised that Plast Toronto is continuing with current Covid measures, as described below.
As we continue to transition to a more sustainable, long-term approach to managing COVID-19, we recognize that adapting to new measures will take time and that not everyone will have the same level of comfort with the measures in place.
Because our programs can include close contact in indoor settings, we are committed to providing the safest environment we can to protect each other.
Health Screening & Masking
We ask that all Plast program participants, volunteers and staff continue to do a self-assessment before coming to Plast Activities.
Wearing of masks is strongly encouraged for all Plast Program participants, and will continue to be required in the following circumstances:
- For days 6-10 after a self-isolation period of five days after a COVID-19 diagnosis. Learn more.
- If you are identified as a close contact of someone with COVID-19. Learn more.
- In public spaces, including schools and childcares, for the first 14 days following travel outside of Canada. Learn more.
Vaccination Status
At this time Plast Toronto will continue to follow our Vaccination Policy (see below).
Other Safety Measures
As of March 22, 2022, Plast Toronto lifted of all cohorting, physical distancing, and capacity requirements. We will continue the use of HEPA filters at the Huculak Centre and encourage increased ventilation, like opening windows.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. We will continue to monitor and evaluate, follow our guiding principles, and shape our responses and policies accordingly.
